1)Solang Valley is located about 30 minutes from Manali and attracts travelers both in winter, for its snow, and in summer for its adventure sports. From January to March, it's possible to ski and snowboard there, and a gondola carries visitors 1.3 kilometers up to the runs. After the snow clears, paragliding becomes popular. However, keep in mind that it's not well regulated and there are safety concerns (people have died in the past). Additionally, many people who visit Solang Valley opt out of the adventure-seeking to experience a bit of culture by visiting the Shiva temple above the village. If you don't want to walk up to it, it's possible to ride a pony there.

2)Rohtang Pass is a popular day trip from Manali, although heavy traffic can be an issue that makes it a challenge to reach. Situated a two-to-three-hour drive from Manali town, it connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti valleys of Himachal Pradesh. Due to its high elevation of around 4,000 meters (13,000 feet), it's often subject to bad weather. The main attraction at Rohtang Pass is snow, particularly when it has already cleared from other places. Unfortunately, waste management is poor and facilities for visitors are lacking. The number of vehicles is also restricted and it's necessary to obtain a permit at least a day in advance to visit.

 3) Hadimba temple, Stop by Dhungri forest on the way to Old Manali to visit the ancient Hadimba temple (also known as Dhungri temple). The temple, a four-tiered pagoda, was built in 1553 and has a facade of wood carvings. It's dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, the wife of Bhima from the Hindu epic The Mahabharata.

4)Vashisht, Another travelers' hangout with inexpensive guesthouses, Vashist is situated on the opposite side of the Beas River, about 10 minutes uphill from Manali town. If you're interested in alternative therapies such as Reiki, massage, past life regression, and tarot, there's an excellent Reiki center there. It's open from April to October, and regular spiritual retreats are held throughout the regular season. Otherwise, the main attractions are temples and hot springs.

Once you traverse the 9.02 KM long tunel in about 8 to 9 minutes, you will enter an entirely different world with barren landscapes (similar to Ladakh) with almost no trees and greenery but even higher mountain peaks covered with snow and Chandra, a tributary of Chenab river, flowing next to the tunnel. Drive a little ahead for 20-30 mins and you reach Sissu and 30 mins more ahead you reach religious confluence of Chandra and Bhaga river at Tandi. This is also a highway towards Let-Ladakh

7)Jana Waterfall At a distance of 12 km from Naggar, 32 km from Manali, and 33 km from Kullu, Jana Falls is a beautiful natural waterfall situated at Jana village near Manali. It is one of the best waterfalls near Delhi, and among the must-include places in Manali holiday packages. Jana Waterfall is a 30 feet high waterfall surrounded by deodar trees, pine trees, apple orchards, and spectacular snow-covered mountain peaks. The first sight of the falls is quite hidden and will be a surprise for the visitor as the water unexpectedly rushes from a cluster of rocks overlooking a wooden bridge. Visitors can enjoy a refreshing bath at this waterfall. It is one of the best sightseeing places in Manali. The falls can also be reached by a short drive from Naggar. There are 2-3 buses per day between Naggar and Jana village. The first bus from Naggar departs at 8:30 AM. Otherwise, you can take a private taxi from Naggar. After reaching the location one has to trek for about 10-15 minutes from the nearest road point. The road towards Jana waterfalls is breathtakingly beautiful. The climb is easier compared to many others in the region and can be completed by beginner-level hikers too. One can trek up the hill to reach the top of the hill which provides a better view of the waterfall and its lovely surroundings.
